The primary aim of the Society is to foster the study and appreciation of the works and lives of Imagists within the school of literary and artistic Modernism. To this end, we have supported forms of scholarly communication such as biennial conferences, various publications, and a website.
The Society aims to continue offering scholarly communication and to expand to provide continued and additional support to scholars interested in the work of the Imagists through additional conference panel sponsorship and broader publication venues.
